Lol you asked for a 0-60 from a dyno sheet. I chose one, figuring nobody could actually be that stupid.

Sounds like their problem, not mine.
The small pudding is my favorite. Very modest -- not a cake, not an ice cream. Nor is it large or even medium. Just a small pudding, please.
They’re more similar than different. Wheelbase is within 2" both width and length, both RWD, 2.0 DI with twin scroll turbo with similar power output at very similar peak ranges.
So the newest supra has approximately the same weight (actually heavier), power, and 0-60 as my 13 year old saturn. Neat!
The old one actually looks better IMO
Doesn’t want: Something too big
That saab though, always loved those. Too bad it isn’t a manual...the 2.3Ts are a blast.
Who cares? who wants this at this point? After like 5 years of teasers we get a now-standard DI turbo 4. cool.
Yeah I don’t get the hate here. They were decent cars -- if perhaps overpriced. I’d take one over a prius for sure (they ride and handle better, not to mention look a lot better too). Practical and decent mileage/performance.
Man I really want this to work out. And with a 120 month 0% loan I probably could!
They’re around if you look, I’ve seen a few come up prob within the last month or two. Shame though, they didn’t mate a manual to any of the V8s.
A R129 does not really compete with any of the cars you mentioned other than it is a convertible. That’s like saying a GTR and a 500 abarth are comparable because they are both turbocharged. The R129 is a comfy tourer based largely on a w124 e-class chassis.
This. Looked at pictures briefly
Its interesting you compare it to a w115. I’ve never had a w115 but had a few old diesels and I would consider the W123 and W115 to be on the same level as a falcon from a workability, desirability, and drivability standpoint. I would probably throw front discs on this falcon though.

Spartanburg, AL is where they manufacture the RWD V8 Acura.
