Pffftt, we’re paying what would be equivalent to about $4-$4.25USD a gallon in Ontario because of Harvey, which is silly since Canada can create it’s own gas. The lineup at Costco was around the block this morning so people could save roughly 40 cents a gallon by buying there.

As much as people complain though, we

I don’t know how much “life saving” was actually done here. If the guy could swim even 10 feet, he would’ve probably been fine. The news team probably just assisted and made it a little easier for him.

Would be hilarious if a car lost it around a corner right as the cat swatted it :D

Is that belt to put bills in?

So I’ve always wondered...is Brock blind? Is that why he keeps his eyes closed? Maybe he’s like Daredevil.

WTF is up with these ads that start auto-playing video WITH AUDIO. Screw that shit.

It’s very bland.

I think where they’ll really save money is fuel costs. Sure, maybe the trucker still needs to be paid while it’s charging sometimes (though not on lunch breaks, like most companies), but we’ll also likely see further range if they’re transporting something light like toilet paper, or helium balloons :)

Charging up my E-V with plenty of joules.

On the autobahn is where he spent most of his days.

Update: Oh crap, someone already wrote that.

“The solar eclipse did not mess up your period. Nahhh girl, you pregnant!”

It seems like a half-measure though. When we break it down, all a battery is is fuel - a different kind, yes, but it still moves the car forward - and automakers all work off of the same type of fuel powering their engines (sure, there’s premium gas and diesel, but generally speaking). If a battery can be

Ah ok, nifty little trailer there. All I was getting at was that there are simpler, better ideas out there. Charging will improve faster than any car company working together to standardize trunk space and magically make your luggage problem go away. What’s the solution? Get a roof rack for the luggage? Pull a small

Now playing

But what’s the point of standardizing this instead of standardizing the actual batteries which fit under the cars instead? I understand there’s a difference between a 40 KWH, 60KWH and a 100KWH battery, but that seems way more logical compared to standardizing trunk space when you have varying sizes of cars. A small

There are a few major flaws I see in your plan. Not that I don’t appreciate the effort; I do, but there’s just too much that doesn’t work. I do have an alternate idea though, which I’ll mention after the issues I see.

1. Once the forklift has put the battery in your trunk, how does it get itself out? The forklift, I

This game is sooooo addictive.

“a freewheeling billionaire who spouts off whatever thought he desires on Twitter, leaving his barebones communications staff to the chore of responding and clarifying his remarks.”

Are we really talking about Elon Musk here?

It would be great to have a car launch on electric, and then once it reaches cruising speed, switch to the spcci engine (where it operates at maximum efficiency) and then have regenerative breaking when slowing down. I’d rather have this engine in a plug-in hybrid than anything else.

Bill knows not the definition of clumsy or genius.

I hope you’re right about being able to control it with the steering wheel controls! This touch screen “solution” is laughable. Maybe fine for someone using Autopilot, but definitely not okay for someone who’s actually, you know, driving a car.
