One of my Datsun buddies back in California replaced the tired L20b in his 510 with a CA. He had a custom intake manifold fabbed up with individual R1 throttle bodies, with some other top end work done. That thing screamed like a banshee at WOT and was a blast to drive.

Well, that’s why I said in this case. As far as Datsuns go, some, like the S30, S130 and any old Skyline, look great with fender flares. Others, not so much in my opinion. It’s a matter of taste, and a lot of people that are fond of Datsun Zs think they look good with fender flares. That’s all.
