Now that I think about it, Stone and Parker are responsible for what I think are the two times I have laughed the hardest in theaters. One time was the entirety of Uncle Fucker, if it had gone on any longer I might have choked to death. The other was in the opening of Team America when one of the heroes and a

Exactly--most of the people complaining, would honestly have never even noticed most of these changes.

I felt exactly the same way.  One of those things that should get less funny but somehow rides the wave to super hilarious.

From the article:

I didn’t cry during Sam’s on-camera monologue, but I teared up when I saw the addition at the Smithsonian. To be “no longer erased” is huge, and something so many have been fighting for.
Heck, the NYTimes now frequently runs “Overlooked No More” obituaries for people who were ignored at the time of their death

I think that’s the exact vibe they were going for; how can you be a Captain America and not have some cheesiness?
For Steve, it was just his nice boy persona that families can get with.
For Sam, it’s a persona that is so warming that families can get together and celebrate with.

I saw Team America in a discount theatre with maybe 5 other people, and I was howling with laughter throughout...probably to the point of pissing off every single one of those other people, who seemed mildly amused by the film.  South Park: The Movie was both hilarious and gorgeous and I cried with laughter through

I’ve never seen a man eat so many chicken wings.

When I began to scroll down and saw the iconic South Park knit caps, I was hoping this was one in the series of the AV’s other themed articles running this week:

Avatar also owes a helluva lot to Poul Anderson's "Call Me Joe."

One issue with the film I actually don’t see brought up that much: the whole thing with the Na’Vi being completely in tune with their planet and able to call on all its resources means that for the Colonel to be any kind of legitimate threat, he has to be made so ridiculously badass that it’s hard not to root for him

The world could always use more Donald Duck.

We already know Sam is a veteran, but with the Avengers no longer a team (would you call them disbanded?)

It’s streaming on Hulu

The TMS animation is excellent.

This was definitely my most-watched movie of 1992. I got a copy just a few weeks after it came out - My Dad (possibly grandmother) bought it for me on our way back from seeing my Mom and newborn brother in the hospital. One of those “presents” you give to older siblings to occupy them for a few weeks while the rest of

This is the best Looney Tunes movie, and barely even features any of the actual LT characters.

he’ll always be Quagmire 2.0 to me. It makes sense in so many ways now. (The thing with Nestor possibly being his lover seems so quaint to me now.)

Matt Gaetz looks like Chris O’Donnell if he used his Chris O’Donnell powers for evil instead of good.

The Godzilla series is easily my favorite film franchise, and a lot of that is due to it really being the first series to catch my attention as a kid. I think my father brought home King of the Monsters when I was 5, and I’ve been hooked since.
