He's kind of a living counterpoint to the "be yourself" message.

Hey, just a heads up, the Target buy 2 get 1 free videogames sale starts again on Sunday. I’ll be doing my usual and getting gifts and a bonus for myself, depending on which Switch games are eligible.

Maybe he's thinking of Groundskeeper Willie, who got axed in the back in the Simpsons version?

Yes, it was the finale of two seasons ago.

Oof, $15? I’m also confused about the whole Crunchyroll thing, since I already subscribe to that. Like, will the “new anime” be different from what’s on regular Crunchyroll, or the same stuff? Is it original productions, like the Roosterteeth stuff (so not actually anime)? Are they just going to move all of the Crunchy

Or just play/sing “Let It Snow”, which is the same basic concept without the bits that people aren't super fond of.

Unfortunately, 150 comments IS kind of a lot for modern AV Club.

Lack of Porgs is a plus in my book.

I find the Tegridy Farms story to be very funny and I’m enjoying it, while also hoping that it ends this season.

Does anyone know if they're putting the old cartoon shorts on there? I used to watch those when they'd play them in the mornings before school and I haven't seen any of them in forever. I wanna watch Donald Duck and Goofy cartoons, dammit!

Freeform usually plays it as part of 25 Days of Christmas, but since it has a weird running time it has a bunch of edits for commercials.

I like how his co-worker was "Grover M."

Due to the nature of this movie (and not being able to watch the trailer right now), I cannot tell if “bullying ferries” is a typo or not.

It kind of bugs me that she's just in plainclothes the whole trailer, along with everyone else. Though I guess maybe they'll have costumes later?

That's how I feel hearing "said the quiet part loud" on a regular basis on the news lately.

Also, they have to know that some people subscribe just long enough to watch a show and then un-subscribe afterwards, who might re-subscribe for a new show.

You know, I’m fine with them not being cinema or whatever. Part of what I like about superheroes/anime/videogames/etc is that they’re kind of trashy and fun. I never got the obsession with trying to get everyone else to view them as respectable high art. Like, who cares, really?

If I know my anime/cartoon opening villain shot rules, that big monster in the back is probably the boss of the lot.

I just noticed that one of the things with Jasper is some sort of conjoined (fused?) Watermelon Steven monster.
