Powershot(star?) Golf is a lot of fun for an arcade-y golf sim. Has some nice social integration for competing with friends' best shots in different situations, lots to unlock and a fair amount of content for the price.

on the DL side of things, Killer Instinct (if you enjoy fighters and you can play it for free anyway so why not), Strider is a great game, Max: The Curse of the Brotherhood is a short but very enjoyable game as well. and don't forget PvZ: Garden Warfare. also incredibly fun.
that's one character figure from a movie that nobody particularly cares about, lol.
Their decision to leave her eyes in perpetual "Holy shit" gaze is a problem, in my opinion, but this does look great. Little known fact about Hot Toys, the female figures are always the first to sell out. Take that however you like.
Google maps 3d and one of those supersized 3d printers could do this.
Yay! Loved the first one. Can't wait for the sequel!
I actually loved Hot Rod.
Really neat. My first thought was that a 3D printer did this, but nope.
I like it. It's fun, stupid cheese. It was like a Frank Miller version of the 60's Batman tv show.
Name: Speed Racer
To me certain plot elements were very distracting. A house literally explodes and virtually no one exits their adjacent houses, all of which are within ten to a hundred feet of their houses and are at risk of fire. They're not even curious about an explosion next door? Then the police don't do anything or follow…
No shame in that — I thought the Fright Night remake was no classic, but it worked some really interesting variations on the original, the cast was having fun without too much winking at the camera, and it efficiently filled a couple of hours without making me want to punch myself in the face.
I like the remake quite a bit more than the original, so you are not alone.
I think this is really Sommers' attempt to pull back from the "blockbuster" thing and do something more character-based and intimate. He doesn't quite know how to pull it off, but the result is at least fun and entertaining.
I liked this movie. It was a good evening watch. I saw it for Dafoe and Yelchin, who I am fans of. I've liked Yelchin since Star Trek, and really enjoyed him in Fright Night.
And an even better captain ;)
Heh, all of us are talking about how great George is, and I can't help but think if he was reading all of it, he'd joke "why are you eulogizing me? I'm not dead yet!"
It's a shame George never ran for President. I feel like President Takei could have done amazing things. He's endured the darkest side of human nature, and somehow came out of it one of the kindest people who ever lived. Not just a great actor, he's a damn good man.
My wife did an interview with Mr. Takei five or six years ago for her thesis. Incredibly warm, generous, and open gentleman.
I'm the guy who took his non-fan wife to see the movie - and both of us loved it. I don't understand the hate for the movie.
