I just started using my bank's personal finance thingy or whatever to arrange my finances and when I got to the charity part, I felt bad because I'd love to be able to give more/anything these days. This breakdown doesn't seem totally unreasonable, though.
I have my full-time gig which is fine, it pays about fifteen grand less than what I'm worth, but whatever, pseudo-beggars can't be choosers here in NY. I make up for that income disparity by tackling various freelancing gigs.
Would this work with credit card bills? I don't have crazy debt but any bit could help.

That's true, I could always just over the amount. Typically I adjust based on what I can afford to do, but I guess maybe coming to a happy medium would work best.
My only concern about automating bills is that I often pay over the amount that I owe to knock it down faster.
