I think we're just going to backup the data itself (photos, SMS, etc) and install 7 fresh without restoring the backup. I need to find a way to make SMS readable on the PC instead of just an iTunes backup file, though.

My wife has an iPhone 4 and can't upgrade until next year. She's got iOS 6.something and it's unbearably slow. Does anyone know if iOS 7 will run any better on the 4, or will it just make it worse?
