Just one of the many reasons I hate esports. It drives up this concept of video games being something to be taken seriously way too far. As far as I am concerned esports have been the worst thing for video gaming ever.

I want to add that they also revived the Sam & Max series. The third “season” (The Devil’s Playground) was what got me into Telltale’s games and I still wonder if their Tales from the Borderlands game is canon or not.

I think that’s my main issue with the game.  Like, yeah it looks real good.  But it very much looks like a “hey ya still like SpiderMan 2? Here’s a better version of that.”  Something that Spidey games have been chasing after for over 10 years.
