It was badly translated. It’s a Japanese thing... In Japanese it makes more sense... Japan is somewhat still of the weird mind that “women are from venus, and men are from mars” though it’s a little different from that too... It was a hard scene to translate I’m sure... they did their best.

The characters in Tales games are designed by a woman. Also yes it is a cultural thing. Often times when women are asked what they like in a female the main character above is the perfect representation of what they find “cool” I’m not even kidding...
