I just binge-watched this season. Amazing! I love how creative each episode is. Man, Aziz Ansari is such a foodie! I end up snacking too much while watching this show.

I played the demo. I had to reduce the music volume to 20% because it literally drowns out everything, and if you're attacked, goes on playing for another few minutes, long after you've killed an alien.

Baby Geniuses. When you have young kids, and that's the only "family" film on a shitty rainy weekend. I have never hated a film more in my entire life, hated that I couldn't fall asleep to it like my wife did, shocked that grown adults thought it was worthy of pursuing the making of this film to the bitter end.

I hope it has pictures. I love the subject matter, but want to see examples for comparison, as this could be a tedious read, unless the writer is very good at describing buildings.

Probably not the version that will screen in cinemas unfortunately.

Well, that's great and all, but can we have a DVD or Blu-Ray release? Also, can we have the original orchestral score, sans Eurythmics, and the bleach bypass print that Roger Deakins personally supervised?

Jeez, it's a real bummer reading how many cynical comments there are here. We're finally getting some good science fiction films, and Arrival is one of them. This should be cause to celebrate, because it's been a goddamned uphill battle to get even a marginally more intelligent film than the summer tentpole cartoon

No, DC hates Superman. I worked on a DC/Warner franchise product, and it's a case of too many cooks, all of them not knowing what to do with Superman. There is not a single decision made where somebody actually seems to be in charge. Marvel has Kevin Feige, DC/Warner has a team. It goes through a chain of command so

I remember reading an article in Vanity Fair about him. One of the reporters was asked to write his biography. Outrageous stories. Essentially the reporter gave up after putting up with a man that had no patience and horrible abuse. Peters makes Trump look like Charlie Rose. He is also functionally illiterate, and has

Thanks! So many great street names in US cities. All the street names here in Montreal are boring dead politicians or catholic saints.

Bucket of Blood street - now I want to know the story behind that one. Also Camp Suicide.

Spoke too soon, I guess. Mind you, I've only seen three movies on this list. Maybe four, since I can't remember if I saw Monsters Vs. Aliens.

You know it's a problem when you read "animated dance-party endings" and you can't remember one that didn't end that way. Okay, most Pixar features didn't.

I agree, and often, it's way off the mark. I read more than once how Arrival was so relevant to what's happening politically in the world right now blablabla, but the script was written almost 15 years ago, and it's a timeless story.

No, I haven't read that article - thanks! It is too bad about the PC bugs. Having worked a bit in games, the most damaging aspect is the artificial launch dates imposed on Triple-A games by the bean counters. A game should be released when it's good and ready. If the public wants it, it doesn't matter what time of

How about the prequel: "Exclamation Mark! the Movie." Or go back further: "Rotary Dial" with Jimmy Stewart as the voice of #4, and Lee Marvin as the pesky #0 that takes so long to dial. Coming up next from Sony: "5 Unstoppable Beeps!" The animated movie about Microwave oven sounds, starring the voices of Michael Cera

I hope so too. Playing on PS4 with no problems at all. I have "The Art of Dishonored 2" book and I love it as much as the game.

Dishonored 2 has perhaps the best art direction I've ever seen in a game. Artists like Segey Kolesov and Piotr Jablonski have injected a level of true artistry and maturity in the concept art and design. There is not a moment where the architecture, graphic design or general world building feels false, right down to

Villeneuve is "new city." It's not pronounced "Vill-eh-neeooovee" like I've heard some Americans say. I'm from Montreal, and the proper pronunciation is "Vil"(like saying "will" with a bad German accent, eg: "I vil kill you") and "nerve", so it's Vil-nerve. Say it fast to sound it right.

The Kubrick of our time? Are you measuring by genre of films he made? Nolan needs to be more precise in his directing, a lot less obvious and expository in his dialog, less populist and more personal if he's to be compared to Kubrick. He's a clever guy, but his films are like limousines hiding a Volkswagen beetle
