you're using the past tense a lot for something that hasn't happened yet.

And how does Linus' finger impede that?

It's true, but so were the DSLite, the DSi, and the DSXL. I'm not sure how many people realized that the 3DS is a new system that plays different games. I'm sure they will catch on, but it seems like Nintendo's naming systems are a little more confusing than they need to be.

I'm sure Nvidia is really feeling the sting after that?

Its the same problem as the 3DS. The name suggests that it's another Wii peripheral like WiiFit.

On the plus side, I don't see "sponsored results" on any of the Apple Map pix.

That's a lot to ask without any government intervention. How do you think it will happen? A big change of heart?

I say go for it.

The funny thing is that the trailer looked more like a Saints Row game than Hitman.

The real problem is that the tailer resembled nothing that you would do in a Hitman game.

Not gonna happen. There are already a ton of map apps in the store, including plenty with turn by turn directions.

It would be pretty awesome to have a movie where Master Chief is the bad guy, though.

Well, iOS 6 is still in beta, so I wouldn't expect Siri to come out of beta until the official release at the earliest.

I understand that there are ways around it, but I prefer not to have a bunch of remotes floating around, and I'm probably not going to pay extra to get a remote with bluetooth compatibility. I even have a Sony TV, but the feature you mentioned only works with the new 'slim' PS3, not my old one. It just seams like

It will work with pretty much any programable remote, whether it's the Logitech Harmony, or the cheap 'universal remote' you pick up at the 99 cent store.

If it has an IR port, than it has to allow the use of a universal remote. It's just a series of infrared light pulses.

You're right, Apple will never catch on in tablets, phones, gaming or TV.

Indeed. Maybe Origin has some great features, but it seems obvious is that their favorite feature is high prices.

I was never really that outraged about Origin, but it seems like they've been very good about making sure I'll never use it. The proper way to win me over would be with a new game experience (preferably a new IP) that I couldn't get anywhere else. But even though it was the only way to properly finish my Mass Effect

The thing I don't like about the PS3 is that it doesn't have built in IR, so I can't use it with a normal remote unless I want to buy their expensive bluetooth one.
