By that logic all the review should be taken down because the product isn't out yet.

I liked Source Code. It had an interesting sci-fi plot, was well directed, and over in 90 minutes. I know that sounds like faint praise, but too many movies these days take an extra hour to tell a story under the false impression that longer = more epic.

It’s pretty clear from just looking at the pictures in the article that putting the eyes in the headlights makes the cars look a little ‘special’. And in the example with the blue car, you can’t even tell there are eyes in the headlights.

It’s called support. If your phone manufacturer isn’t going to support your phone then they should sell it at a cheaper cost to reflect the diminished value. And your claim that software updates are gimmicks that don’t add any value without a hardware update is absurd on it’s face.

If you are going to have to support the phone/tablet yourself, then it really should be cheaper.

Which is over 3 years old at this point.

I just tried the update and the text field works like it should now. It adds a new line when your text needs it, and it even has a character counter. The Google Voice app continues it’s long slow march towards usability!

It took them over a year of development to make the iOS GV app usable without wanting to rip your hair out. It still can’t figure out how to display all 160 character of a text as you are writing it. At least it doesn’t lose your text when you rotate your phone anymore (yes, really).

This is just a preview of what’s to come. Android tablets haven’t been able to gain a significant foothold in the market over the past year, and time is running out. The Amazon Fire is going to dominate the low end while the iPad continues it’s reign at the high end. This leaves Android tablets being squeezed in the

Whoop dee do. Now maybe they can finally make a text field that adds lines to accommodate message size. What good is a texting app that can only show you 63 characters of your text at a time?

For some perspective, Google said that the Android Update Alliance would be all figured out 6 months ago.

Yes, but that study was done over 1 month ago, and OS 5 came out less than a month before that, so those numbers are already quite dated. Also, it’s very easy to turn Carrier IQ off on the iPhone. Go to Settings->General->Diagnostics & Usage->Don’t Send. Or you could always just update to OS 5.

I’ve played them all and 4 is by far the worst story. Yes it wrapped up a lot of loose ends, but that doesn’t make it a good plot. I thought MGS3 had the best story, but it can be tough to play those older games because of the archaic control schemes.

I feel like the 17" Mac Book Pro will be the last of the last 'Pro' machine in a couple of years after they kill of the Mac Pro desktop. I can also see a future after that where all Apple laptops are either called 'MacBook Air', or simply 'MacBook'.

Don't look now, but Apple is gradually dropping the pro market to focus more on consumers. If anything it will just be 'i' products from now on (except for the "Apple TV").

Your generator is broker. ‘Pro’ and ‘i’ are mutually exclusive in Apple’s naming schemes.

It depends on the kind of stupid. XyBoard is bad in a 'trying too hard to sound cool/clever' kind of way. But other 'stupid' names like the Wii or the iPad get stuck in people's heads in part because of how lame they seemed at first. Products with numbers are mostly non-offensive, but don't expect to get a lot of buzz

I dare you to find a measlier price for an iPad 2.

Offer valid until customers enter the store.

If you’re using an iPhone it’s a service that you were prompted to opt-in to when you set up your phone. You can also turn it off at any time (settings > general > about > diagnostics & usage). It’s all laid out in Apple’s privacy policy and you can even see all the the diagnostics info they send, so you’re going to
