This solution is so mind-numbingly obvious that it just blows my mind when people don’t consider it. I mean, I get why the NBA owners would never, ever, ever accept the imposition of a relegation system (you have to basically start a league with relegation in place; because no owner would accept a system that puts

Score. I’m in Irvine, too. Thanks for the free ad!

I would exclude Reaper from that group. First, with respect to just getting kills, your comment is basically right, but Reaper is sooooo good at an important “type” of kill—taking out tanks—that I usually like having him on my team, even if he’s not a world-beater. Second, his teleportation is nice in many contexts

I read your comment in Soldier: 76's voice, and it made me happy-sad.

It’s Tommy!

This was the first album I ever owned. Got the cassette tape for Christmas in 1986 from my older brother, and had no idea who Depeche Mode was (I was 7 at the time). This song, Love In Itself, and 2 Minute Warning started me on a lifelong love affair with Depeche Mode.

Mercy main here, and I just want to express how much I agree with the responses to Bonboru’s incredibly bad take.

I’ve got a friend in town staying with me this weekend. I’ll make him play some Overwatch, but he’s going to death-stare me into shame for having not picked up the copy of Portal he loaned to me like 6 years ago, so I’m pretty sure I’ll have to finally give it a try.

BREATHE. .... .... ... JUST...BREATHE!

Oh jeez. Yeah, nothing worse than trying to play Mercy with 5 morons who all go it alone.

Never seen or heard of Hydrox until today, but throughout the post all I could think of was the time when I was in high school and, feeling a bit body-insecure, I bought a bottle of Hydroxycut and ate it like candy for two weeks.

Oh, so much of this. I play with other heroes, and there are intense moments for sure, but nothing has even comes close to thrill of rocking Mercy when your whole team is cornered for 4-5 minutes straight, and you’re soaring and bouncing back and forth with reckless abandon all over the screen and the little whirring

And tbh, I have found that, even if I CAN swap out the healer for a gun (in your examples of Symmetra or Bastion), it’s almost always vastly more efficient to simply heal/buff someone else and let them blast it than to switch, blast it myself, switch back, and resume healing. Mercy can shoot things; doesn’t mean it’s

No doubt, if you’re a skilled player, then using the pistol is fine. And in terms of actual damage delivered, the pistol isn’t bad—it’s just got a small clip, so missing kills you, and is slow to swap in/out. But that’s neither here nor there, because I’m responding to someone who says they struggle to play as Mercy

Haha—I highly doubt you’re the problem-type Genji I’m describing then. And to be clear, it’s not a simple case of “I hate Genji, and don’t want to play with Genji.” Rather, it’s me wanting to be useful, and I find that I often am less useful if I’m constantly chasing Genji around the map. There are other heroes who

I would add one more that probably goes without saying: Don’t pull out your gun. You’re a healer, not a shooter, so don’t try to be both. Switching weapons is too slow and Mercy’s pistol is too weak to do anything meaningful. Embrace the support role and it’s blast.

Yeah, that is definitely a factor. If the Genji on my team (in, say quick play) is highly ranked, then I’m much more patient. But if it’s lower (especially like a sub-30 rank) I tend to give it only a round or two before moving on.

Mercy’s probably not for everyone, and I don’t know if you have any interest in getting better at playing her, but to the extent you are...there are definitely a few things things that anyone can do that will help tremendously.

I am a Mercy main—have been since I bought the game and fell in love. Genji’s constant begging for help—combined with the difficulty in locating him half the time—has caused me to place him near the bottom in my hierarchy of preferred teammates. He’s not the absolute worst in my mind (that’s actually Roadhog,

I’m just disappointed that Billy didn’t tie together his 3 favorite topics: Everton, Deulofeu, and Barca. This would have been really easy, since Everton own Deulofeu, but Barca have a buy-back clause, and Deulofeu is tearing it up on loan in Milan such at there rumors of Barca maybe exercising their buy-back. Come
