I think you misunderstood the point of that sentence. No one is saying that “no campaign = easy.” She’s saying that it would be “the easy road” for DICE (not game developers in general), to omit a campaign entirely OR to make a shoddy multi-player.

This case highlights a lot of issues surrounding sexual assault. I’m not sure people distinguish enough between legal frameworks and evidence, on the one hand, and moral judgment on the other. Simplified pronouncements about consent are unhelpful.
