Wouldn’t ISIS claim responsibility for any terrorist attack?

ISIS bombed two Coptic churches in Egypt today, Palm Sunday, killing dozens.

Right? Isn’t being a national laughingstock/embarrassment kind of this whole family’s thing?

How is this not terrorism? They did not say “radical islamic terrorism”, they just said it was an act of terror. Driving a truck into a random building to kill people is an act of terror, full stop.

That’s kind of weird, considering the number of recent terrorist attacks committed in western countries that completely fit this MO.

Not sure why anyone would think this first given the current trend of using exactly this method in terror attacks.
