Man, Tony Bourdain has a type, doesn’t he?

That accent is hilarious. She wants us to think she’s a global citizen. It’s just another role she plays.

Jolie’s interview with the BBC is worth watching just for the lols. She now has a faux continental accent (I know she speaks French) that moves back and forth depending on the subject and how well she has rehearsed for it. In short, she was so thirsty.

When Kris Jenner watched the first episode of next season’s KUWTK, she “bawled her eyes out.”

But does she have all of her sisters with her?

True story. Before Nirvana, I listened to Power 96 (radio rap/pop). Then I saw Smells Like Teen Spirit, bought Nevermind, and never looked back. Nirvana was a seminal moment in my life.

50 years old here. I remember standing in a record store (!) in a mall (!!) in 1991 I think when someone put Smells Like Teen Spirit on to test out some stereo equipment. It’s hard to believe I was ever that young. Honestly, that’s all I got.

My first concert. Lucky to say I was able to see them live.

Are you a jealous Admiral?

Sorry, that’s my South Philly Mom-mom coming out.

We are Italian, my child will like pasta and gravy.

Wow. You are either phenomenally stupid or stubborn or both, because with that backwoods attitude, you shouldn’t be on the internet. But strangely, you still pay for what those “soft-handed” people have engineered. Maybe you’ll be more appreciated in that cave you should go back to.

Guessing you’re either at a computer or on your smart phone? Thank an engineer, dumbass.

These things have been around since the 60s. Funded by the government, not Silicon Valley. You’re just jealous that you can’t keep up.

Um, bitterness much? I can personally attest that people work, and work hard for their money in tech. You forgo raises and big company benefits to join startups that might pay off, and of them don’t. We’re talking 100 hour weeks here. People work hard at this companies. The only people n making the money are the VCs,

So, uh, I’m an academic - is that also not ‘real work’? From what I can understand you’re only classifying manual labour as a real job, and that’s leaving out like... 70% of the modern work force.

But can you manage the water filtration system for the city? How about the electrical grid? What about the cyber security keeping your bank account and medical records safe? Didn’t think so.

Tech people build and maintain the water filtration and cleaning system for the potable water traveling through pipes. They work and control the power plants that produce electricity. There would not be any shop techs without the people designing and creating new products. So, you’re wrong. Tech people do actual work

Software development is engineering of a different type where your laboratory, workshop, proving ground, and production platform are all virtual.

You don’t think coding is work? Fuck yourself and go back to the 19th century.
