Third, why wait until you’ve boarded and the plane has left the gate to pitch a fit? Even if you just found out about it from a member of your entourage, why is that the airline’s fault?

Think about it too: when do pilots turn a plane around? Not because you want to renegotiate baggage fees. They don’t even turn around if you were late to a flight, much less because you felt, AFTER BOARDING THE PLANE, that you paid too much for bags.
This whole story is weird and doesn’t make much sense. But I can see some of what might have gone wrong because I’ve seen it so many times at the airport with people in the uber-frequent flyer programs. First, were all 19 bags Derulo’s, or did he try to do the asshole thing and say that all of the group’s bags were…
Oh, please. I’m the whitest white man ever and if I get into a shouting match with the pilot on a plane that has left the terminl they are going to tase my privileged ass.
He is probably thinking because cops were at the gate, but a Captain won’t return a plane to the gate over checked bag fees. It sounds like the real reason they went back to the gate was because Jason threw such a fit the Captain had to come out to see what was going on.
Why would the police be called during the Selma Blair incident? She was crying and claiming that abuse was being done to her by someone else.
Assuming one policeman per one or two people, that doesn’t sound outrageous.
I’m stressing out hard about my flight next Monday with my 18 month old toddler. If some asshole delays our flight for some entitled shit like this, I’m going to start throwing things.
(This is the bigger story here;so you’re a member of American’s bougie little club...but any old person on Southwest can still check more bags than you?)
Maybe I’m just very obtuse but will someone please explain the “racial discrimination” part?
Jason Derulo has accused America’s shittiest major airline (unless we’re counting Spirit) of “racial discrimination” after an incident involving checked bags, $4000, and literal requests to “turn this plane around.”
I think exactly zero less of him over this, everyone talks shit and if you don’t, well, don’t sit with me.
I think with the level of awfulness happening in the world, this merits little more than a bemused smile.
I can’t really build the motivation to snark on him for this because so long as he’s not whining to the press constantly or openly in conversation, he has every right to bitch in his private correspondence. Is it mature and classy? Nah not really, but I don’t expect people to be paragons of virtue inside and outside.
I think that women are guiltier of that than men by quite a large margin.
If I understand you correctly, I probably agree with you. I think that men are not considered truly men if they are single and sexually frustrated. Nowadays, women are still respected if they choose to be single, or if they are single not by choice, which honestly is pretty rare. A man can be accomplished, but if he…
Similar to how women complain about not being able to find a guy, when they get hit on all the time. They’re really complaining about not being able to find the specific type of guy they want.
It seems the guy does want a relationship, he just goes about it the wrong way. Yeah, he also tried Tinder in a new city. I think that his very disjointed article is trying to show how men often have difficulty securing a relationship, a date, and a Tinder interaction. Also, I am reluctant to suggest that people do…
