Not necessarily a pickup conversion, but a old truck dropped on the vic frame for better handling.
I picture BMW is like a high school kid in English class. They just keep adding fluff to their line-up to keep the customers happy.
This seems to be very common with TVs and movies. They jump between generations, just same color and kind of car. My friends think I’m crazy for ranting about that in the middle of a movie. At least I’m not the only crazy person.
The Mk6 Golf / GTI actually has a 194 bulb that shares the reflector with the high beam, but is a separate bulb.
2002 Grand Cherokee V8, lifted two inches, front sway bar removed (with coil springs and no sway bar, you feel like you’re driving a boat, so much body roll). Lifted 2002 Grand Cherokee V8 on 31" mud tires does 115 before the limiter kicks in.
What if its more about the car than the date?
Here’s the article about the guy who registered his. He had to jump through months worth of hoops since it was a prototype. And that was in Sweeden.
I’ve always wondered what car those headlights came off of. Now I know.
I like the my GTI for that reason (and the plaid seats are awesome). Its a comfortable but fun daily driver. The interior looks and feels higher quality than other comparable cars. And everyone doesn’t try to race you from a stoplight because your car looks fast.
