I gotta agree that if, in the end, we find out Hank has been "smacked over the head for the billionth time" with clues about Walt and didn't know Walt was in on the meth production, it will make Hank pretty unlikeable. They'll have to explain that awfully well, and it'll probably involve Hank not being nearly as good

The first time I called Walt a monster was back when Skyler called the cops on him, and he made a big show of taking care of Holly and downplaying everything, saying he and Skyler were just having problems.  Ah, to have those carefree days back again.

If it helps, cul-de-zack's comment doesn't make a lick of sense. No pun.

Hank beating the shit out of Jesse, plus his ego and casual use of racial epithets, makes me really dislike him. I don't hate him and I won't be seriously angry if he ends up taking Walt out, and they DO attempt to mitigate his constant crankiness by making fun of it every so often.

I watched seasons 1-4 on DVD and kept hearing that AMC allows "fuck" every so often, but my experience with watching season 5 as it happens is that they don't allow ANY f-bombs.  Who exactly is getting to see these uncensored when they air?  Is it really different depending on where you live?

I was with you all the way, baby. My jokes about the Ehermentraut & Pinkman spinoff weren't entirely jokes; Mike, as we knew him earlier in the series at least, should have known better. But he kept not killing Walt despite really, really needing to.  He was making mistakes — and this is where you and I disagree a

Definitely. Hell, just leaving him there unsupervised was "duh." How did he know Todd or Jesse wouldn't show up, or someone from Vamonos Pest? Walt could easily have talked any of them into undoing him from the radiator.

The show didn't do the character any favors by portraying her as the stereotypical bitch hag mom-wife holding back the Interesting Complicated Man in the beginning. It was really poor writing, in my opinion, and I was very put off by it. The show has tried to mitigate it somewhat, especially with the meta-discussion
