The P1 is theoretically faster then the F1 even at top speed if the 217 limiter is removed. It would just be pretty sketchy at that speed though which is why they limited it.
Flying cars will never be a thing till cars a fully autonomous and you can almost virtually eliminate accidents. Driving is one thing and people can barely handle that, now think about the dangers of flying with our already congested and complex aviation system.

They did that with the P1s when they were delivered. Each owner could get a semi- private track day to get taught the car. If you are a prospect customer McLaren does have some track days where you can test out their car before you decide to place an order. They recently did this with the 570s.
