I would imagine the company doesn’t want to give out great reviews all the time especially if they want to be able to fire you on a whim without any issues. That way they can point to a history of reviews.

I had the same issue with a set of cabinet/shelves. I only wanted the TV stand portion of it but they didn’t sell it separately, you had to buy everything.

My roommate and I had two at our apartment. The only problem with the chair was the older one tilted back further than the newer one. Otherwise, a comfortable chair for sure.
