Not to mention he exaggerates how much he’s worth and has openly said he uses his feelings to measure his wealth.

I feel like people complaining about millennials are using basically the same argument that the WWII generation was saying about the baby boomers in the 60s. I mean wait another 20-30 years and you’ll hear the millennials saying the same thing about Generation Z/Post millennials.

Because most of them are scams. Anyone can register their dog as a therapy dog. There no tests, no actual licensing.

I don’t think this was mentioned but there’s a whole documentary on this on Netflix at the moment about this game and the video game industry during that time.

I actually didn’t realize that about the health app.

It sounds like the tickets will be within the Ticketmaster app. So the only way to present those tickets is if you signed into your account through the Ticketmaster app.

If you remember, the original nominee was Harriet Miers. She withdrew not because of Democratic obstruction (Harry Reid praised her when she was nominated) but because Republicans didn’t like her. From what I read, Bush really wanted to niminate Roberto Gonzalez but never did because Republicans didn’t like him

Those two things are wildly different. They never said they’d block any nominee outright. It’s one thing to play around with maybe blocking a nominee AFTER they’ve actually been nominated but to out right refuse to do anything because you’re hedging your bets on who’s in the White House next year is new.

Just remember, Anthony Kennedy was sworn in in Feb of 1988, during Reagan’s last year.

You bet.

So upon further googling it looks like it’s a NYC oddity. Apparently the title closer is NOT paid by the title agency.

I’d like to point out this weird thing that New York State has where you tip the title person at closing. It’s not a law but it’s just something that’s done here. I was fortunately aware of it before I bought so there wasn’t any surprises at closing but that’s something weird that apparently only happens here.

I had that on my condo. As was mentioned it counts toward the down payment but I think it’s there to show who’s serious about trying to buy your place.

You can’t really even do that, the washer is up on small blocks to allow space for the furnace/AC unit to drain directly over the floor drain that the washer sits over. I honestly have no idea how they get it up there because I wasn’t home when they did that. I assume they used some sort of dolly lift.

Yikes, it’s been six years with the hoses I have. The problem I have is my washer and dryer are stacked on top of each other in a utility closet. You can’t look behind to see if the hoses are okay. You’d need a couple of people to somehow get it out of there.

You forgot distract them with social issues like abortion and gay people.

Ugh, it’s like people around here in the city that use the word “hispter” to describe anyone they don’t like.

BWAHAHA. I felt to need to add to that conversation.
