Given that the Empire is supposed to be a “white supremacist” organization, which dislikes non-humans, it makes sense that they wouldn’t trust droids either. Otherwise we’d end up with a Star Wars version of Skynet, or worse, the Borg.

We are already a driverless society. Have been for twenty-some years. Very few people anymore are drivers. Most are just motorists who see their vehicles as appliances to get from point A to point B, and HATE it when they see somebody having a good time in one.

This is another perfect example of a car designed by committee. That’s how GM does it. Everything they make is designed by committee. The fact that the Corvette and Camaro are as good as they are is a miracle.

Just get into autocross. You’ll learn just as much if not more.

I’m finding that the people here are just too damn slow and seem to think they’re driving on explosive, frozen eggsheels. I’ve driven in snow conditions 100x worse than this. This stuff is a joke. If you wanna go that slow, that’s up to you, but stay out of the way of the rest of us.

Couple of things...

Look for older Yamaha XT225's. Enduro, street legal, and should be fairly inexpensive. Other options are the Suzuki DR200, and Yamaha TW200 (the one with fat tires). All are good bikes, but I’d pick the XT225 personally. Or if you care to get a new one, the XT250 is fuel injected.

This would make for a great conversion package to offer to owners. Imagine picking up a nicely used Cayman (or Boxster) and then having one of these put in. Nice. Well, except there’s still no way to get to the motor except from the bottom...

The current Outback is the ugliest thing to come out of Subaru since the Tribeca (and it wasn’t all that bad). BUT.. I will NEVER own a car with a CVT. Automatics are bad enough, but a CVT? No freakin’ way. Not happening.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned from Jalopnik, it’s that owning a used BMW is a VERY VERY BAD IDEA. Says the guy who paid $1900 for a Passat (wagon, 5-speed!) and has put $1500 into it so far in repairs. :)
