I didn’t even know this event still happened after the horrific crash back in 2011, where a plane hit the asphalt not 50' from the bleachers, at 500 mph. I had read that there were quite a few boxes of severed body parts (from the crowd) collected after that event.

I think Subaru needs to make a WRX version of this car. And keep the manual trans of course. I'd buy one in a heartbeat, even over a regular WRX wagon.

Trailer tires are notorious pieces of crap. These things should be investigated by NHTSA or the CPSC or something. Seriously. I have a big 5th wheel toyhauler and I’ve had six tires delaminate, four more explode, and two develop huge bulges in the sidewalls. I finally replaced everything with 16" wheels (up from 15")…

I almost bought one of these new back in 1987, but got an Integra LS instead.

I’m torn. I really like the new Camaro and am not at all a fan of the 5th gen car. But like many, I probably wouldn’t own one because of the visibility. I’d probably pick a Mustang instead. BUT.. the ZL1... that’s another story. I want one of those bad. :)

The USPS is probably the worst of all the federal agencies... although the TSA is close. They can’t even keep their tracking system straight. Often times, the tracking will show, “en route to carrier” and then a couple of days later, I have the package.

Nah this should be good. If the cops wanted to be rid of it, they would have done so years ago. In the past, every time a bill has come up to outlaw the practice, the CHP has been involved in defeating it.

Now if Microsoft would work on the overall usability and stability of Windows, it might help. Apple is head and shoulders above them when it comes to the user experience, and being stuck on a Windows machine at work every day (with my Mac laptop next to me) only serves to make it that much more apparent.

I want this bike. Bad. But, I don’t have $13k (and financing isn’t an option), and at only 30 mpg, it’s a bit of a let-down. I can run the piss out of my DR650 and get 45, or run the piss out of my V-Strom 650 and still get 50. Yeah neither is as fast, but both would be a blast on the Dragon.

I picked up a 2000 Passat V6 Wagon 5sp a few months ago and I really, really like that car. It’s made me pay more attention to the newer ones. Sadly though, the new ones can’t be had with a manual transmission at all, so they’re a total no-go for me. But they sure are attractive in an unassuming way. I’d pick one over…
