Wait, what? I’m agreeing with you. She was pulling grand stunts for a little bit of government money that did nothing except draw attention to herself. She had no reason to commit fraud. She has plenty of money on her own.

Raise your hand if you count yourself among those of us who are ready to go ahead and purchase Omarosa’s book even though it pains us to support someone who so willingly sold out her own people, but we will do it anyway because the tea is scalding at this point.
You’re talking about suggestive “ghetto” names, and your company is named “Mantality”? GTFO, right now.
This is one of the worst cases of Economic Anxiety I’ve seen in a while.
This family needs to move. Like now. I feel sick thinking about the danger they are in. They need to move quickly like Black families had to move in the 20th century to save their sons from lynching. Their daughter is in danger physically and psychologically. There needs to be a gofundme to help them move to…
This is important.
I was upset about another issue...so I repeatedly called someone a nigger? Sure, that makes sense.
WTF was she thinking? She has an active IG account of her handling large containers, cooking large vats of food with her hands while standing, dancing, and being completely ambulatory in other photos and videos.
Fox News is going to reference this until the end of time.
This is just the sister system of the for-profit prison complex. They need bodies to keep it going, but not bodies that cost too much money. I could launch into a long, personal story about how our former governor was in bed with the for-profit prison and half-way house corporations and increased incarceration rates…
The scariest tranche isn’t the apologists, but the people who think the vulgar rhetoric and schoolyard-bully interpersonal style (never mind the messages being conveyed) are good things.
... This is one of those situations in which there are no heroes.
That cry has always been “They might treat us as we treat them!”
“we don’t want what happened to them to happen to us...but uh, we didn’t do that stuff to those people, they oppressed themselves because of...laziness? ya gotta hear both sides”
The irony of that sign in the first picture “Wake up white man. You are a minority by 2042".
“I’m going to really hate myself for saying this...”
In my opinion, it doesn’t take cynicism to see it.
A cynical man might suggest that DC’s real problem is that they don’t have a strong roster of first-tier African American heroes who are unencumbered by mythology, so they keep trying to use Cyborg to round-out whichever team needs rounding out today.
My counter argument to them putting him in here for diversity is that they already have an amazing black super hero in John Stewart Green Lantern, who we have seen works with the justice league, and solo. It just doesn’t make sense for Cyborg to be shoved down everyones throats. They were just afraid of what happened…
As a black man who reads comics who was once a black kid reading comics, I do appreciate DC/WB trying to “make Cyborg happen” but it’s failing because that’s all it’s been: something forced. For 30 years Cyborg has been a success as part of the Teen Titans, most notably his friendship with Beast Boy. Taking him away…
