just a phenomenal song, but don't forget that kanye also has an entire wintery album with some excellent christmassy standouts; "robocop" is a perennial fave

my first thought watching the trailer was amanita meets masaaki yuasa, and that is an aesthetic combo that put this on my radar instantly
everyone moves like dancing lasagna
they haunt ya, get caught with traps on the lawn, yeah
it's snowing
oh no-ing
the music's abysmal
it sounds like a casio played by a criminal
but not bad, either. house of cards is one of those really abysmally concieved shows that (at least by my metric) is nevertheless impossible to watch without having fun. it's stupid and badly written but there's an earnestness to it (helped by performances that just go completely all in) that makes it weirdly lovable,…
thank you, and followup: why didn't this show up via search? why is the search basically borderline useless for anything (especially tv club pages)
yes, in fact
the "some reason" is that it's fucking terrifying and weird as hell. everyone moves like dancing lasagna and there doesn't seem to be rhyme nor reason to the movement patterns, let alone the traps. that plus the fact that they are relentlessly chasing you resi 3 style doesn't make for a fun…
so when are we getting the review of whatever the hell a very murray christmas was supposed to be
in other news, i kinda hope "get behind me, santa!" or another sufjan stevens track makes an article for this feature because if there's a single musical artist who has worked harder to make christmas their own damn business and actually pull it off then…well, there isn't
the backing vocals make the song. without them it's just pretty good, but those backing vocals, that choirry echo? it makes it basically perfect.
he's right. darkness is trash, but 2009 rocks, especially compared to most of the other st films.
a 60s throwback
not bad ones, either
i'll take a potato chip
kiss kiss bang bang
ok suzanne smith
the guy who made the guest and you're next is helming this, so it actually has a chance (those two films are basically a perfect batting average for the same tone as what this ideally would have) but god almighty am i terrified of the others
i guess this was michaels' trump card
you caught that way too fast but yeah, you're right
imagine if the social network started being made only a year after facebook started, except also facebook was a giant machine of mishandled nerd frustration (well, wait, nevermind)
