I know this is a minor detail, but tilt/telescope steering wheel is a huge plus to me. My first (and only) car has one, and it's from 1987, so it drives me crazy whenever I get behind the wheel of a modern car that doesn't have one. It just makes finding a good driving position so much easier.

All you have to do to understand that the "states rights" the Confederates referred to was the institution of slavery is look at the Civil Rights Movement. The exact same argument was being used in places like Alabama, Mississippi and South Carolina when the federal government was attempting to enforce desegregation.
