It seems to me that the show has alluded to Alan being involved as well. Maybe Keene & Nash were killed by Adora, and Alan pulled their teeth out to steer the investigation in a different direction.

God I hope its not the mother - that would be lame. I still suspect its the step father though (to help conceal the crimes of his wife). Either way, the show as ‘mystery’ has been very underwhelming , and has been much more interesting as a psychological study about hiding in plain sight.

Interesting how John showed Camille and her body more respect than 99% of the grown men in that town, who also have daughters.

John got to see Camille’s scars bc he can relate to her. Richard can’t; she liked him, but slept with him to spite her mother. The bartender says you have to go to “Bean Town” which is a racist way of describing the area of town/the outlying county where the predominantly Latinx/Hispanic slaughterhouse workers live.

You buy her whole “oh, my delicate skin has been bruised by this rose” act? Sheesh. 

What do you think Jackie was saying with her box o’ fun times candy that she gives Camille? She’s on benzos and vodka every damn day. No need for opiates if you’ve been drugged up since the 80s.

I find this show really difficult to watch but I force myself through it because it’s so good. Usually I’m relieved when an episode ends but this one ended too soon. I don’t want to wait to find out what happens!

Actually, if a male had been through tremendous trauma and who we empathized with through the entire series did this we wouldn’t condone their actions but we would have some sympathy for the character as a whole. That’s my opinion. We’ve grown to know Camille through seven episodes. Of course, there can be a double…

Broken people often tend to attract each other as they can somewhat empathize with each other's pain. 

Jackson saw right to the core of humanity, and damn did she not like what she saw. Cynicism at its wry best.

Why are you assuming Amma isn’t taking the medicine? She’s got increasingly fevered as the ep/medicinal poisoning went on and by the end began to upchuck. It’s not really like she can hold it under her tongue and spit it out later.

Well that was a gut punch of an episode. Camille making bad decisions, but you’d have no heart if you can’t empathize with what she’s been through. I’ll say the same for John Keene. Even his two-faced adoring girlfriend abandons him, as expected.
