I have no problem with the fat suit, and don’t see the lead as ‘petulant’ as she has been bullied and abused and has the right to those feelings. However, I do object to the wildly mixed tone of the show, and find it neither funny nor dramatic. It is one of the shows I will drop after the first episode as I don’t

If you’re going to do something like this, this was pretty well done. All the fans were given panchos and food choices were messy, yet soft enough not to cause injury. Nice..  Also, sweetly turned double play...

If it gave her a fraction of the misery (once someone explained the word ‘complicit’ to her) that her crime syndicate family has caused others, I am glad...

how can they NOT feel this way? He has the warmth and empathy of a stomach flu...

come to think of it....

Don’t know that, I’ll have to catch it...

He really does commit to his role, he possibly could have been a decent comic or even dramatic actor...

I have a feeling he would be pleased by your reaction..

I think the 1972 film did a more than respectable job considering the difficulty of adapting it. It was certainly the best of the Vonnegut film adaptations, granted that is a low bar. Then of course, there’s:

No need to argue; we can work it out..

She’s calling from inside the house!!!

but, but, but what about empowerment?!!!

There are a lot of other smells which may mimic that; it’s understandable...

Bologna has always been my favorite deli meat. Part of it dates to my childhood when our neighborhood butcher (remember when there was such a thing?) used to give me free slices when I accompanied my mother to the store.  Those childhood memories became inextricably tied in with my adult tastes. I do agree with posts

Some time ago, my GF and I seated right next to a table of very loud teenage girls. We immediately asked to be moved, and the server was very accommodating. If possible, it is best to be moved early in the meal so as to make things simpler.

This sucks, and happened to me a couple of times. My partner and I were fond of a Turkish restaurant in her area, and I even chose it for a birthday meal. I still remember one lone server handling a packed restaurant with perfect aplomb. Alas, it moved out of the area. We also had a wonderful meal at Pure Foods in

Going back aways, for a long time I considered Mary Badham as Scout in To Kill a Mockingbird the gold standard of child roles. No artifice or histrionics , just truth....

The actual OITNB book is much less dramatic than the series, and so different as to be unrecognizable. I am not sure how much it would add to enjoyment or understanding of the series.
