Time travel, end of story..

I found the scene with Scully in a Catholic Church immediately after a satanic ritual amusing, and wonder if this were a comment on organized religion in general... and oh yeah.....KINJA!!!1??????$%$%$#

I seem to remember Joyce saying that it was intended to allow someone to rebuild Dublin brick by brick if it were every destroyed... a fun quote to use anyway...If you don’t feel like reading it, this PBS documentary does a surprisingly good job describing it...

It’s like if the White House was real life; oh, wait...

I agree that Buscemi was miscast as shoe slammin’ Nicky. As much as I have enjoyed Buscemi’s work, this doesn’t make sense to me...

“There is no getting out of this town, Scully; not these days”....

I honestly doubt whether Trump can fully read and comprehend a tweet, much less anything longer. I suspect he has staffers cherry pick items pleasing to him and pass them along..

I find it interesting that Dustin Hoffman was considered for the original film. I have to imagine that his role in Straw Dogs 3 years earlier had to be a factor ..

Agree with the assessment of Bush the Senior, though recent allegations about his touchy feely treatment of women are troubling..

I write ‘on table’ on the top line and also write the total below, but same principle...

Possibly my favorite episode of the season; I like how Scully and Mulder didn’t actually speak to each other until almost the very end. I can’t imagine anyone in this modern world not relating to many of the scenes in this one...

I think Steve Martin had a serious, vulnerable side from The Jerk onward. The scene with him and Bernadette Peters singing Tonight You Belong to Me on  the beach is as sweet a moment as you could want to see. And of course the Thermos song with its surrealism and romance deserves an article by itself...

The Target near me has had self service for some time, and it works well...

How Trumpian of him...

I generally use ‘milk’ from almonds or cashews. It lasts MUCH longer, and I also prefer the flavor..

Regina Spektor’s charming Live in London. Rolling Stone noted “ one of the most intensely joyful rock shows we’ve seen all year.”..

I kind of agree. I almost gave up on it, but it rather grew on me, and the characters seem to develop in rather surprising, pleasing ways.

I’m upping the grade for the MST3K reference alone...

Not sure what is worse - the ‘singing’ or ‘sexy’ body twitching.

Like most of the commenters here, I prefer booths, and usually ask for one, always politely. I have never had any problem and no one ever seemed to mind in the least....
