Did you speak with an attorney before writing this?  Service of summons is not strategic theater.  It’s a requirement in order for a default judgment to enter.

I have represented famous people and all I have ever said to the press during pending proceedings (whether the client is famous or the case has somehow drawn interest) is “no comment.”

These comments are ridiculous!  I thought I was conservative when I was 18....turns out I’m not.  The Jezebel commentariat is so unforgiving.  I’m glad she wisened up.  Full stop.
