If you just give them this space uncontested, you’re just giving them exactly what they want, and buying their narrative that they’re relevant.
My guess is silencing the thing. From the tone in the article, it feels to me like the crypto idiots actually thought they had bought legitimacy by helping sponsoring the event, and only found out the organizers didn’t give a damn about them when they were stopped by said organizers.
Kudos to the organizers to have the balls to let their creators describe their thoughts without muzzeling them on behalf of their sponsors.
That’s awesome, kudos to this guy
No, it didn’t.
I think they blew a cool opportunity here- in the TOS episode, the Romulan commander was played by Mark Lenard, who would go on to play Spock’s father Sarek throughout the franchise until the 09 film. Sarek was played by James Frain in Discovery, so it would have been a fun Easter Egg to have him play the Romulan…

The roads are so poorly maintained here that a bike path is the only thing I feel comfortable on
This is why I absolutely refuse to ride on the street at all any more and ride exclusively on bike paths. I firmly believe that a good 15-20% of the population has gone completely unhinged insane.
No - isn’t Eddie Munson played by a CGI de-aged Robert Downey Jr? /s
But really - THANK YOU for mentioning that was “peak Metallica” as it is one of my top favorite albums and tracks from them!
Wanna feel old? The “pretty sure it’s a Lambo” happened 13yrs ago in 2009.
Around 2017 or so, at a display for a Pagani Huayra, there was a guy who was providing security for the car who was offering (only) young women the opportunity to sit in “his car” and take selfies. The reason I was pretty sure he was only security was first, the “security” printed on the back of his t-shirt and then…
