I am aware of that and have been for more than 20 years of attempting to have conversations on this topic with people and then having to jump through endless hoops to defend myself from being labeled a terrible person justfor pointing out that the treatment of the Palestinians is wrong.

I wish it wasn’t so, but you can be 100% morally correct and just, say nothing that even talks about the construct of race, when referring to something about Israel’s policies and suddenly, you’re the devil and all you can then do is defend yourself from being labeled a devil.

I’m only suggesting a potential direction for pointing out very specific actions by a subset of a population to clarify that the proverbial “you” is not blanketing every single person in the entire collection of people, to avoid having the conversation turn into something it absolutely isn’t.

Not all Israelis and that is a VERY important distinction to make and is probably one that needs to be made within the statement about what is going on in that land.

Something like, “A portion of those in power in Israel, seems committed to actions that fall within what the world has determined to be acts of genocide.…

It’s all based on the real and true horror of the Holocaust.
