As a Disney stockholder who also has several friends who work at Disney, I am conflicted!

Why not? You could even wear a top hat and monocle and scoff at the poors in the groundling seats!  

I like paying for assigned seating because then I can show up 10 seconds before the first trailer and not have to sit through all the pre-show advertising crap, but still know I’ll have a good seat.

That’s true - I lived in Boulder, CO, in the 90s-00s and I remember when “the government is putting mind-control chemicals in the tap water” was a far-left position.

I mean, the Times is right:

I’m reading about the history of the Czech Republic right now and everyone knows about the atrocities the Germans committed during WW2, but we talk less about the 30,000 German people killed by the Czechs right after the war, some by the government, but mainly by armed partisan groups in the post-war chaos.

Maybe they wanted them to be farther west for the pacing of the show (eg maybe they’re in Colorado in the next episode and didn’t want to warp-speed them from Pennsylvania)

If they’re telling that the movie is truly worse than all of those you’ve listed, now I REALLY want to see it, out of sheer morbid curiosity!

Cloverfield, of all movies, was also pretty accurate about what’s walkable to what in NYC, and how long it would take.

Obviously since humans went extinct, the native mountain ranges were free to grow wild, just like the trees and moss. That’s why they showed soaring peaks in suburban Boston - there had been no human activity (car traffic, mining, etc) to cut them down.

For me, the “wow” moment of his performance on Sunday was right before the first sex scene - the nervousness/shame/excitement of a tough self-reliant man who has never been that vulnerable before.
