My favorite plot point of Speed 2:

I guess that’s where we disagree - Racism is 100% what’s in your heart.

Well I can’t see into her heart, and I’m by no means some Campion superfan who believes she can do no wrong. Maybe she is a racist, idk.

This director tried to make a dumb, unnecessary, and poorly-considered joke about how hard it is to win recognition as a female film-maker. She did not mention race, blackness, whiteness, or anything of the sort.

So I guess he’s saying Ben Affleck was never salty on set.

And does John Mitchell have such an iconic recognizable image, like Andy Warhol or Elvis, that his portrayer needs to look as much like him as possible?

She’s a friend of a friend (I haven’t met her myself) and apparently she’s also just a warm, delightful person.  

Idk, this “Lucy” actress really doesn’t look enough like Nicole Kidman.

It looks like so much fun

Not only is it a terrible punchline (man likes anal sex haha?), but it also doesn’t really work on its own terms.

The exception to this is Duncan Jones, a good director (Moon) who made a very bad video game movie (Warhammer)

Eh, that’s probably for the best...he’s not half the man he used to be.

I’m in the same boat (although I didn’t watch it QUITE as fast as you ) - I think the heart of what makes Search Party work is how completely the writers and actors understand their core four characters (ok, five counting Chantal).
