This isn't a male/female thing. That may be the topic, but it's not the issue. It's probably more accurate to say "Dear religious extremists of the world..."

My thoughts are this:
where to you draw the line between accommodating someone's faith and interfering with a flight crew
Just the other day I delivered some groceries to an orthodox Jewish family. I rang the bell no one answered I could hear people talking inside. So I called this number I had this guy answers the phone he told me to leave it in front of the door. Basically his wife was home but I guess she was forbidden from opening…
You know, I just got finished saying to myself this week (after traveling from the UK to the US) that airlines are such a great example of international cooperation. They all operate under the same rules and regulations without much issue. All for increased safety and efficiency.
So we should ignore broad civil rights violations and gender-based discrimination just because it's "their culture"? Where do you draw the line? I guess we should ignore racial or ethnic genocide in other countries because that's just "the culture," right?
ISLAM IS A RELIGION OF PEACE!!! ARGLE BARGLE YARGHHHHH!!
Perfect response. I tried similar jokes with a group of women from Jezebel. Needless to say there was a lot of excessive defensiveness, endless self-justification and much parsing of words. The general nature of an aircraft means people are in close proximity to each other so if your beliefs are in conflict with it then either deal with it the best you can or get off and use another mode of transport. I hear cruises are lovely these days and you have your own room and can sit and mix with whoever you…
Nice to see that he can still grin about the whole thing.
DAMMIT! When I was in high school, wondering what to study at university, I asked about maths, and was told that with a maths degree I could become an accountant or a maths teacher. If I'd know I could have used it to write for a hit satirical animated sitcom my life choices may have been very different...
Farmer: At night, the temperature drops down to -173.
I laughed so hard at this...then stopped since no one else in the room got it :(
