You got WW (everyone does, yay women), but you are answering his question not with the majority. The majority would say WW and Aquaman.

Counterpoint: This is still a terrible time to buy a new GPU.
I love hearing everyone complain about rent control. If you can no longer afford to live in the city, move out, you’re living beyond your means. “I would love to live in Monaco but can’t afford it, can the government please force a property owner to cut the rent so I can stay!” OH, only those making deep 6 figures…
Oh fuck off you satire challenged moron.
Wow, you’re really having a bit each way there. On the one hand you’re claiming it would only lead to more minimum wage jobs, while in fact it was to be a second headquarters, not a distribution center where minimum wages are the norm.
Imagine Being dumb enough to think tax incentives were like a wire transfer and not just money that no one was going to see anyway. Great job giving up 20k jobs for zero gain.
“We want good jobs”
If I were Amazon, I’ll pull out altogether.
I’m all for “weird,” but can we also get back to “less expensive than my first car” or has that ship sailed?
Deals carried out in secret, hmmmn. You mean the local legislators weren’t get their bribes. And to be honest, Amazon shouldn’t get a tax break either.
stop adding “gate” to things.
On that basis, we should force all people to use BEVs to reduce CO2 emissions and other pollutants... because if it saves just one life (and it likely would), it’s TOTALLY worth it.
That’s great and all, but being stopped by the police and having to prove that you didn’t commit a crime is kind of against the whole spirit of justice.
If that were a valid line of reasoning then all cars should be stopped at all times.
There is no discernable difference between .08 and .09. The limit is an arbitrary number that does not hold any real sway. Some people are completely shit canned at .04 and others it takes quite a bit more. The fact that you tried to argue against that shows your real lack of understanding.
It’s actually pretty difficult to blow a zero. When I blow into my breathalyzer after washing my mouth out with water, I still blow anywhere between .006 and .013. A slice of white bread can make you blow a .03 “BAC” (even though the alcohol is just on your breath).
These stops are used to to turn brown people into criminals. They receive a disproportionate level of scrutiny at these types of BS stops.
Oh yeah, it was meant as sarcasm. The “if it saves one life” logic is absurd. There are a million better ways to save one life. Hell, there are better ways to prevent DUIs per dollar spent than a checkpoint.
That’s like saying that shooting every bear has the chance of saving at least 1 life that could be lost.
Those numbers seem impressive until you realize they don’t differentiate between 0.06 and impaired or 0.09 and not impaired at all. Like photo radar, this is about revenue not traffic safety.
