I’m fine with Linux, been a Linux sys admin off & on for years. Installed a full version on my Toshiba Chromebook for awhile (but that device is fine for what it is, so I removed it to get the storage space back). My favorite desktop Unix is still macOS though.

IMHO the cheap iPad makes sense as essentially an entertainment and basic computing device you have as a complement to your laptop/desktop computer. The expensive iPad pros make less sense to me for the general consumer because at that price you should just get a laptop.

It’s a valid point, but I would take Windows over iOS any day on a “main” computer type device. And I’m someone with an iPhone XR, AirPods, and an Apple Watch.

I agree that for Creative Pro’s the iPad is an awesome sketching tool, especially when compared to more expensive equipment such as a Wacom Cintiq.

My fervent hope for this cycle and ‘20 is that an influx of new voters and candidates will change the complexion (literally and figuratively) of elected Democratic legislators. Yes I use my surface pro as both a tablet and a laptop.  In my experience it excels at both use case scenarios.  It’s not rocket science to understand different use case scenarios.
