My 86 year old Uncle (A rabid Trump supporter) is now inhaling medical marijuana. It’s changing  the minds of many in my family who used to say that the stuff had no redeeming value, so at least there’s that. 

I’ve done that a few times. Mostly traveling to Victoria because it’s so beautiful. Last time, we stayed overnight, but almost weren’t able to pull that off because of our schedule. 

And why would we want to do that ? Not while Trump is in office.

When weed was legalized in Colorado, we happened to be in Denver (Brother lives there, just visiting, don’t do weed, even though I support legalization) and stopped at a book store across the street from the state capitol building. Some dude was blazed out of his mind, and was walking around with a joint, laughing…

Plus, pot smoke smells even worse than tobacco. Man that shit reeks. 

You’re right. There’s nothing stopping Congress from legalizing pot except Congress. But Congress won’t do that. No way, no how. Not yet. The pharmaceutical interests won’t allow it, and they control far too many congresscritters. It’s not in their interests to have a natural product researched for efficacy because…
