If you don’t have any Lodge Cast Iron Skillets, stop what you’re doing and order one of these now. They’re just about the best thing to cook on in existence. I have the 6", the 10", the 12", and the 14" skillets, along with a small sauce pan, a dutch oven, and a griddle. 90% of my cooking that uses a skillet is done

I call BS on this.

Now the people who have actual phone conversations in the public bathroom, OTOH are the devil and need to die in a fire.

Oh, you’ve seen my prairie dog town.... er open office.

The last car I purchased (new, mind you) cost $13,500. That’s nearly the price of a charging station. I don’t see myself recouping the cost of the charging station in saved fuel economy any time soon. (The one before that was $16,800 by the way. I don’t buy really expensive cars. It’s sitting at 100K miles and is paid

I’m typing on the Velocifire 108 right now. It’s hard to beat for the price. My boss liked mine so much that he got one as well. It’s great for a cubicle/open office because it’s not clacky, so the guy next to you won’t whine as much when you type.

Yeah, that’s my bag too. I actually have the original Bag of Holding with backpack straps as well, but it loses out as a laptop bag to my Everki Titan. But for my gaming needs, the Con bag is perfection. It holds 2-3 books if needed. I usually have my PHB, my 12" tablet, and my notebook in the main compartment, dice,

Sweet. They have a few of their “Bags of Holding” on sale. Those are usually great bags, and I just got one for my wife’s game bag replacement.

Piece of advice after almost a year with my Anova Sous Vide:

Just get the cheaper one. I believe the only difference is WiFi vs. Bluetooth. I’ve gotten to the point where I hardly ever use the connectivity on my device. I simply set the temp on the very easy to use front panel, go away for an hour or so, and come back

From what I’ve heard, it’s gotten better. Apple used to be the devil for the bug, now they’re just somewhat annoying.

Oh that blows! I wife used to have a problem with it trying to re-authorize every once in awhile... usually on her 2013 Nexus 7 when we were away from an internet connection... And not playing until that happened. She moved up to a Galaxy Tab s2 and we haven’t seen that problem since. I use it on my LG V20 on a daily

Umm... I hate to tell you, but almost every Android phone out there is getting updates through the Play Store. Incremental OS updates are only for gee whiz features these days.

Under no circumstances should you do so until after you’ve removed yourself from iMessage. I highly recommend giving yourself a dead day or two before actually making the transition to make sure it took. It’s THAT much of a pain in the ass if it doesn’t go 100% perfect.

iTunes is the absolute worst.

For Computer: Winamp
For Android Phone: Poweramp

Optionally, you can use Spotify to play local files.

It’s a thing. It’s not the person who owned it. I find it pretty silly that someone who likely lauds science would pump this kind of mysticism into an inanimate object.

I was really fortunate. My dad had late onset Alzheimer’s and was really slipping pretty badly at the end. We were keeping a vigil on him, with my sister taking the heavy load of 6 nights a week so mom could sleep (We were trying to get him into a nursing home at that point, but paperwork sucks). My wife & I took

My wife & I go see my mom on a weekly basis. We helped her decorate her Christmas Tree and played Scrabble after dinner. I wouldn’t miss this for anything. During my dad’s declining years, we got into the habit of doing this, and I’m really glad we did. Those memories of him are priceless.

My dad’s been dead just over a year and a half. I’d give a lot to be able to sit there and just veg with him. Maybe have a beer. Maybe just bitch at each other a lot to the point where mom’s pissed at both of us, but we’re having fun with it. I miss those days. Plus, my wife’s pregnant and he’ll never get to meet his
