Why do so many people assume that most motorcycle accidents are the major ones resulting in rehab and major injuries? I’ve been twice, both times in full-ish gear. One of them I would have walked away from, helmet or not. The other I did walk away from with only a bruised rib, but my head took a good twap on the

I’m ok with all of this. The rules are simple: don’t commit insurance fraud.

I’m an ATTGAT rider now (wasn’t always) and strangers will often comment on my getup, especially when it’s hot out. My reply is always the same, “I don’t know anyone that died of sweating.”

Defs this one.

I had it in only one car. It honestly didn’t bother me at all, and it was a stick. It was turned off when in Sport mode, so that’s the only reason it was never one as I was always in Sport mode. But it was absolutely seamless. Mine was a 6 speed manual and it would shut down when in N with the clutch engaged. Try as

I had a friend with one of these in high school. His was that teal color that this car SHOULD be. These were the kinds of cars we could afford in high school, so I have a soft spot for early 90's sport compacts. NICE PRICE!

Can you fail or get ticketed from drive throughs? I thought all they could do was have you go in for a standard test, which it would then pass...

I was in college and driving a 1997 Thunderbird LX. Not my first rear wheel drive car, but my first driving through the winter. I was working at a garage at the time and picked out a set of discarded snow tires in good shape and was having a blast.

But they pass the tests...

It’s definitely a thing. Just do a google search and people have examples of their cars being hit while parked and the airbags going off. I looked it up before I made my comment.

If you get ‘bumped’ into hard enough while parked, do you not think it’d be prudent to assume the vehicle could possibly have someone in it,

Re: ‘Second...’, you’re incorrect. There are many cars whose airbags will go off even when the ignition is off.

I believe your example is closer to how it would actually work. It wouldn’t be “global” other than it would be global insofar as countries would opt in. If India doesn’t opt in, you can’t import a car from that market. If Hungary does, then you can from there.

I would love to see this happen for safety and emissions

You’re adorable.

I was involved in an accident that was my fault in 2001, I had just graduated high school. Pulled out onto a main road and didn’t see a car was coming from the left. Older woman in Tercel, her car was totaled in the middle of the road, my *mint* 1978 Monte Carlo was banged up but still drivable. She outright refused

Are you arguing that someone deserves to die if they have heavy keys? Jesus.

You know what would solve this? If GM allowed the airbags to go off regardless of where the ignition was set. There are a to of way for an accident to happen while the ignition is off. Say you broke down on the side of the road, turned your

I don’t know enough about the case to even have a gut feeling on if this guy is for real or not, but if he committed check fraud I’d hope the jury would see that as a wholly separate case. The plaintiff’s character should carry no weight in determining if he was injured by GM’s product. Nobody should get off scott

Yeah, I can’t get over the looks, either. Inside isn’t much better. It’s funny as just a couple of years ago I was shopping for an ST and loved it. My financial situation changed and I ended up in something different.

Just send over the French ones, then.

“We said the old car was great at first, but it was actually terrible, now it’s way improved.”

I don’t generally break even... I’ve had a bad habit of buying new or getting something collectible with value tied to miles very tightly. I do buy well and sell well, though.
