I’m less than a month out of owning a Porsche and I want one back in the worst way... But Lotus has always had my attention, and the long-term plan (hopefully less than a year) is for the next ‘special’ car to be an Elise. It gives me hope.

The Evora is quite a bit larger than the Elise, and I’d say larger inside than a Esprit.
The made the sills smaller in the 400. I’ve not attempted to get in or out of an old Evora nor a new one, so I can’t comment on how much better it is, but they did make an effort to make that easier.
I congratulate anyone who can endure 62kmi in a Kia.
I’m curious what Tesla’s use case documentation looks like:
1) Stop car short of tight parking space so that driver and front passenger may exit vehicle.
2) Utilize summon feature to autonomously guide car into tight parking space.
3) Open Falcon doors so that rear passengers may exit vehicle having already been parked…
I think Tesla needs to back off on the concentration of the Kool Aid they’re selling. A couple months back they had a software release that allows their car to drive autonomously in traffic, on the highway, across the continent. Now they release a software update which allows the car to drive itself at a walking pace…
I’m not really missing the power - I’m missing the connection. I’ve upgraded the shifter and clutch mechanism, so I’m good there. Next will be springs and wheels to get a little firmer ride and a better look.
Price wise it’s the GTS. Power it’s the Turbo.
Any chance on not being a grey commentor anymore?
Unless you’re Rossi, there’s plenty of room to grow.
I also had a Sprint GT. I really like that bike. I don’t think the issue was it wasn’t fast enough for me, though... it was just too smooth, felt too effortless. I’m plenty happy with something with less power but also less refinement.
The fastest bike I’ve owned was a Buell 1125. On the track it was a blast and if someone asked if I’d like more power, I’d probably have said yes. But on the street I felt it was just a little much. I liked my Buell XB before it much better as an every day bike.
The biggest car dork I know, aside from myself, gets car sick if he’s not driving. I don’t hold this against him.
I can’t condone the rider’s behavior (though I am immensely jealous of people who can pull wheelies at will), but at least this guys is aware of his surroundings.
I agree. I’m a rider and have had to do this before, taking the helmet off helps a ton - not just for them to see & hear you, but for you to hear them.
In many states, you can send a plate number to the DMV for poor driving and they can require that person to come in to retest. If you see something particularly bad, this is always an option. Best case you’re dealing with someone like this guy who, unfortunately, is just past that part of his life. Worst case you get…
Granted, I don’t have to sit in very much bumper-to-bumper traffic, but I actually enjoy my commute when I’m behind the wheel of something fun.
I think the difference here is that you can only get the Mack Daddy, even the base model. What’s nice about a 911, and the F-Type to a lesser extent, is you can buy the good bones of the car without all the bells for a lot less.
The GT is more like an F-Type R or 911 GTS. I think it will compete will with the former,…
