Ehh... this was decent comment but certainly not COTD... they caught on fire because the factory V8/V12 suffered from spontaneous combustion. Seems the problem is solved here.

I saw this car at this summer’s Greenwich Concours d’Elegance in the parking lot (which is usually just as good if not better than the actual show itself) and I gotta say my buddy and I were floored that it was a Ferrari once we got up close. And we weren’t the only ones considering the crowd it had surrounding it.
No manual, no care?
On a seperate note. Those wheels are so sexy.
Has there every been a vehicle with an asking price of more then $15k that received a NP win here on Jalopink??
I will give you a star as I think you got it exactly right. Option 1 is the most likely and smartest in my opinion.
But if you think about it, they’re just acting as a middle man and nothing more.... the real pieces of shit are the people that destroyed/ignored/forgot about these awesome cars in the first place and let them fall into such disrepair due to lack of respect or intelligence.
To honestly think that you’re less of a douchebag for showing up in a $200+ white button up then you are in a $50 polo with a logo is absolutely laughable.
You do realize that “being a dick” and not always being a nice guy are mutually exclusive.
Bought my (6sp manual) Subaru Outback CPO end of November... last I checked manual tranny Outbacks were a rarity too and November is a winter month and the Subaru is AWD. Didn’t stop me from getting a discount. Therefore your argument is holds little water. Sorry.
You could not have hit the nail any more square on the head. This was the pinnacle of BMW era....
Car prices, negotiating, all of that is so subjective to person, dealer, location, make/model.
Really this is the comment of the day? Some bird-brained-half-assed-thought?
So can someone please explain to me WHY the McLaren Speedtail can be registered and driven on the street in the U.S. under the “Show and Display” law, but this cannot?
Honestly GTFO. You’re enthusiant pass has just been revoked for the overly stupid comment.
This car is now for sale on BaT..... kind of an odd coincidence.
Meh.... the JDM EVO 9 MR had all the awd wizardy that the R34 GTR dished out and on a cheaper budget.
Wait I thought these came in AWD versions. Is there not a transmission tunnel so that you can do RWD LS swap?
Ok fine, I’ll ask.... has someone done an LS swap in one of these?
Wait, they aren’t offering a manual anymore?! First the Outback in 2015 and now the Forester. What a shame.
Or they just can’t spend it fast enough. Just participating in the broad stock market has yielded tremendous returns. Let alone niche sectors minting millionaires by the thousands on daily basis as they roll it over from one speculation to another... BioTech, Shipping, Blockchain, Pot, etc
