AWD please!
I'm confused Doug... Did you get another third car I don't know about? If you didn't tempt fate and risk an almost certain flaming death by driving your Ferrari that would mean you drove your Range Rover. And we all know that's not true as it is impossible to drive a Range Rover 3000 miles without spending a few day…
I have to agree, my guess is its one of Fords hired pro instructors at the event taking a passenger for a "hot lap". It is highly unlikely that anyone, even a professional, who is unfamiliar with this car would be both ballsy and capable enough to pull a run like that first time.
Texas gallons, everythings larger in Texas.
This man gets it!
If you get a chance to drive a GTI with the DSG I think you would be impressed. There aren't any other cars in my price range that have options for both auto and manual transmissions in which I wouldn't be sick about owning the auto.
An auto being better than a manual at any price point is completely subjective. Personally I would always prefer to row my own, even if it's slower.
Did you by chance have a health insurance plan?
"but I think the really interesting thing here will be which engine sells the best."
I agree, I honestly would have liked to see them twin turbo the 6 as a mid option. The problem is it would have been way to close to the output of the V8.
Actually it does disappoint. The 3.7 V6 should have gotten an increase not a decrease, perhaps something around 320HP, whereas the 2.3 should have come in as a middle option at right around 350HP. What they have done here is crapped on all the people who love V6's by turning it into essentially a rental fleet only…
With most vehicles buying lightly used is the best option. If you are buying an economy car, or vehicle that is inexpensive new (16-28k)your savings may not be as great. There are also exceptions with certain vehicles like the seemingly never depreciating Toyota Tacoma. I buy vehicles when they are 2-4 years old…
Great article all excellent items for a tailgate. Personally I find the Weber Go Anywhere grill a better choice for travel. Being boxed shape and securable for carry it packs better. It also has a little more grilling area that I find more useable for most grilling tasks.
I came here to post the same thing. Always overshadowed by the late 60's Mustangs (especially Eleanor). It is a beautiful car (and looks even better with rear louvers), and in 71 it could be had with a Super Cobra Jet pushing 375HP and 450LB-FT.
My favorite of all the muscle cars... Someday I'll have one... Someday...
Agreed, VSC and traction control in my Tahoe is the same way, cuts the throttle completely for nearly two seconds. This is particularly scary when at full throttle it drops into first or does a 1-2 shift and gets the slightest amount of wheelspin, (even with it off they wont completely spin unless in the wet or on a…
Correct there are no springs, unless you have removed the torsions and went to coilovers.
I don't understand. Are you saying most gun nuts are incapable of continued life without receiving a free penis?
Thanks for the comparison images. IMO the new front needs to be attached to the old rear.
