Valhalla ‘bout that. Looking forward to seeing Daniel bond with this car.

Who do we like to be the next Bond? I hope it’s Tom Hardy.
I’m convinced that these cars are the only reason Daniel Craig continues to do these movies.
Shoot, as a slightly above average height, I’d have a hard time fitting into it.
Pedestrians keep on dying because they are looking at their phone and walk out into the middle of the street.
“It’s worth noting that gasoline vehicles catch fire quite regularly, so there’s probably no need to freak out over electric cars...”
The REVERSE gear, about Checker Cab, was way more interesting than everything above it today.
There are a number of studies now showing that texting while driving is as dangerous as driving while drunk. What would happen if we made the penalties for texting while driving comparable to the penalties for drunk driving?
I don’t get the runners that say “running on concrete is too hard on your joints!”.
5th Gear: Judging from the etiquette of the average cyclist I see, this is hardly surprising.
It’s worth noting that gasoline vehicles catch fire quite regularly...
And just a reminder, bicyclists, those “STOP” signs are for you, too. You’re not riding a magical vehicle that is immune to traffic laws.
What I do not not get about the lack of enforcement of these distracted driving laws, is that they are a guaranteed revenue generator (setting aside the life-safety issue) as much as speed trapping.
I wonder how many died because they were walking/ biking dressed in black after dark.
1st Gear- How bad does something’s safety have to be to get the Chinese government to crack down on it ? My poisonous dog treats and baby formula with extra melamine demand to know
I was thinking the same thing. What is the rate that they catch fire? If it’s not more then IC cars then people should only be as concerned as they would be with IC... which is to say, they don’t really worry about it because it is unlikely to happen.
My guess would be that gasoline cars catch fire while in use (not in an accident setting) at about the same rate as EV’s, but never while just sitting (which is also a tiny fraction of a tiny fraction of a percentage with EV’s).
re: Pedestrian & Bicycle safety.
1. They who compile statistics should not lump these two into the same category. One shares the road, the other is supposed to be on the sidewalk, except when crossing the street. Which brings us to...
2. I lived in the NYC area for 12 years and was in the city a lot. I saw a lot of…
3rd gear. I’m not sure I’m digging the idea of the first public road automated vehicles weighing 40 tons. I see why it is logical that this will be our first AVs, but I’m not sure I want a computer problem impacting a semi.
Davey was my best and only friend from k-6th grade and really gave credence to the final words in the movie Stand By Me, “I never had any friends later on like I had when I was 12.” Rather, I am 43 now and I still have never found a friend quite like him later in life. Sadly I will never get to tell him face to face…
