They were never offered with a manual if I remember correctly. Obviously some people have swapped one in, but it was never a factory option.

You can’t slide it to the left a bit to just rest alongside the volume down button? I know it wouldn’t be perfectly centered but just looking at pictures this seems like it could work.

I haven’t played the game yet (unfortunately), is there not a “breaking point” system where once under a certain integrity level of sorts it will simply be destroyed? That’s the thought that ran through my head, but if there isn’t then you would certainly be right.
