I actually built a computer for the first time a couple months ago and it was a breeze. I think my cable management could use some work, but everything ran fine right out of the box on the first startup.

Elite Dangerous looks set to be the sprawling nerd game.

Honestly, the decision to hand it off to The Chinese Room was troubling from the start. They're best known for making what amounts to a 2deep4u walking simulator.

I JUST WANT THE PAIN TO STOP

Oh my God, it's still running! Can you believe it? I CAN'T! The fact that my car can still move under its own power has restored my faith in a higher power! Those four rings? It's like the four signs of stigmata! Owning my Audi is like being a real-life Job- minus the lucky bits. But it's all worth it because when it

Too bad the game is still terrible at its core.

Jesus, Johnny, did you steal Strong Guy's powers?

I wish I could find that panel where ol' Reed self-diagnoses with a mild case of autism

I read 2046 and thought you were talking about the Wong Kar-Wai movie, then realized it was a typo

I've seen it described as "with the big name space sims, it looks like you're flying a ship. With Enemy Starfighter, it looks like you're flying a gun." Which to me sounds pretty accurate. I also LOVE the descriptions of the ships and weapons in the game that I've seen, gives a holy war vibe to the whole game.

Oh sweet Christ on a bike playing Dark Souls with an N64 controller would be HELL.

In EVE, you can set up Ponzi schemes to steal billions of in-game credits. Go read about the Guiding Hand Social Club incident. It's the most insane thing I've ever seen in an MMO, and one of the most insane things I've ever seen in a game. And it was all perfectly within the parameters of the game. They didn't break

I just think it's funny/ironic that players can walk away with tens of thousands of dollars of in-game items after setting up a pyramid scheme or heist. What they do in EVE is legal in the real world, and these two guys in the article broke the law

Funny thing, these guys get bagged and now face charges, and no one ever goes to jail for stealing tens of thousands of dollars worth of stuff in EVE. I know EVE is structured that way, but jeez, just imagine if stealing or destroying an $11,000 ship netted you charges of destruction of property.

You can't just button mash your way through the game

PC SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS 64-bit Windows 7/Windows 8 Intel Core i7 or equivalent AMD 4 GB System RAM 50 GB free HDD space GeForce 460, ATI Radeon HD 6850 High Speed Internet Connection Steam account and activation required

I think Creation was just Gamebryo with a new paintjob. Everything works the same under the hood, down to the console commands it doesn't feel any different. Combat still feels like you're swinging a wiffle ball bat at enemies, and the world still feels lifeless. Bethesda needs to get their shit together and get a new

That's funny, because the Creation/GameBryo/NetImmerse engine is absolutely horrendous.

Tonight, The Big Bang Theory celebrates Star Wars Day

I'm really not a big fan of the Tolkienization of Tamriel/Nirn/Mundus. When you dig into it, the lore of TES is fucking CRAZY, and not at all like Middle-Earth, except maybe superficially (orcs/elves/men). Seeing the changes made to the Bosmer for TES:O was a huge disappointment.
