I've lost all respect for Jalopnik.

My 2005 Focus had one of those lifetime air filters. I finally changed it out with an aftermarket unit at 183k miles. There was no change in fuel economy or performance. I cracked open the sealed housing to take a look at the filter:

So still rockin the drum brakes from the 80s?

Bad analogy. The airbags might blow.

Hey, no potential for holes punched by tow balls!

I think this is called “limp mode”.

They should just have Al Gore come to town.

And probably the same one labeled “Allison” in the upcoming 2020 Silverado HD.

So while BMW was engineering the car, Toyota was hard at work getting all those fake vents just right.

Hey at least this one is actually made by Toyota.

I don’t understand why people are so excited about a BMW with a Toyota badge. It would actually be something to look at if Toyota could make a performance car themselves.

Then, no matter how it’s driven, the vehicle’s computer can always prioritize regen over friction braking but proportionally use both as needed. The brake pedal directly engaging the friction brakes on hybrid and electric vehicles

You lost me at “best looking”.

Any SUV can do this. This is not a gigantic feat. The truck probably has a weight distribution of 58/42 and just the rear wheels are locked up. Also, the locked up wheels are the trailing wheels, not the leading wheels which also helps. Without having a low range 4x4 like some SUVs in the Tesla, what would actually

Nothing beats the old Nissan hardbodys.
