He has lane keeping assist turned on.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t the Torque on Demand transfer case add a 4th setting on the 4x4 knob, called “4x4 Auto”, but otherwise is identical? With it in 2WD, wouldn’t it operate the same as the so-called “fleet-only” XL and XLT models that don’t have the Torque on Demand feature?

I had this happen to me last week. It spoke to me “in a quarter mile, turn right after Chase Bank.” I was impressed because in this scenario, had I got in the right turn lane at this moment it would have forced me into a parking lot. The most prominent building up ahead was a Chase Bank clearly marked with huge

Just get a Raptor. And as a bonus, you could get your Man Card back!

There are no high performance engines designed specifically for police cars, at least not anytime in the recent years. Throwing heavy duty cooling systems and bigger alternators on the regular engines doesn’t constitute a new engine designed for police cars.

After a few years of being on the road, every one of these things is going to have a big dent where the mini tailgate slammed into the hitch ball. That is, if they use the “man step”.

It’s not going to make it into commercials because it’s nothing new. The F-150 introduced Dynamic Hitch Assist in 2015 and it was class exclusive then. Bragging about a “new” feature in a 2019 model that is 4 years behind the competition isn’t good optics.

So in other words, the chart is misleading?

Can you site your source for the width of the Ranger Raptor? Something tells me that is with mirrors. The width of the F-150 Raptor you listed is without mirrors.

It amazes me GM still uses a solid axle in the rear which requires removable seats if you want any decent amount of storage room when Ford and others have had IRS in the rear of their full-sized SUVs since around 2003. IRS allows the rear seats to fold flat instead of requiring removal to create an equivalent amount

But will it have airbags?

Flex ST.

I guess OP has never heard of a hill. Also, not all snow is created equal. In the PNW, we have hills. We also get snow that is much different than the snow in the midwest. When it snows, there is no getting to work or town unless I have AWD.

My big pet peeve with wipers is those cars with two controls for wipers; one for turning wipers on with various speeds, intermittent mode, and off, and another for adjusting the intermittent delay. This is a very unintuitive user interface. For example, when it starts raining a little harder, I subconsciously turn

Actually, the answer is simple. They don’t pencil.

It still doesn’t fix that offset from the driver’s seat steering wheel.

My Focus has 5 cupholders, 4 of which are in reach of the driver, and I regularly use all 4 of those ones in reach as I commute alone.

Actually, the only Ford driver’s side air bags affected by the Takata fiasco are the 2005-2014 Ford Mustang, 2005-2006 Ford GT, and 2004-2006 Ford Ranger built in North America and that interior is none of those. Just sayin.

Or 2007, when purchasing an iPhone requires activation on a cell network that no longer exists (AT&T 2G network!).

Why do you call it a mass shooting? That’s a bit disingenuous. Call it what it is, a mass murder. When someone runs over a bunch of people with a truck, you don’t call it a mass trucking. Folks commit mass shootings all the time out at the gun range. There is nothing nefarious with that.
